Latin America saves itself from the crisis by creating more employment

We all live under the same reality, inside a box; if we want to or not, we are dependent in the matter of relationships, corporations and also the crisis. Nowadays the world economy is suffering the so called “financial crisis”, which was started in second half of 2007. For this reason, people, companies and everyone affected have to find solutions, and an answer for this problem could be Latin America.

Why Latin America?
– According to ECLAC (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean), Latin America showed capacity of resist the crisis, with an increase of 3.1% GDP in 2012, and a future increase of 3.8% GDP in 2013. (www.eclac.cl)
– Unemployment has been maintained stable at 7% at a regional level and has decreased in many countries, whereas the employment rate is 57.1%, one point above of the previous crisis level, in accordance to the ILO (International Labour Organization). (www.ilo.org)

Not everything is positive…
– Latin America still presents big differences between social classes, which affects its growth independently, because it depends enormously on international commerce.
– One of the biggest problems that Latin America has is youth unemployment. More and more young people that enter into higher education do not achieve any job in accordance with their circumstances.

Analyzing the points commented and considering the current Spanish crisis that is going to last a couple of years more, Latin America is presenting as a pretty good alternative to acquire professional experience, and to invest in construction and commerce, while having the advantage of speaking the same language.

And the statistics support it, showing that during the crisis the percentage of Spanish immigrants in Latin America has increased. National Statistics Institute (www.ine.es)
