GROSS OPERATING PROFIT

Another way to express the concept of Operating Profit, o what is the same as earnings Before interest, taxes depreciation and amortization (ebitda). Basically, this is the first indicator of gross profit and enterprise value after including the expenses related to the work dedicated to carrying out the activity.

Net operating income or revenue = (sales revenue – discounts, returns and allowances) – cost of sales (goods or services) = gross profit – sales, administrative and general expenses (SAG) = gross operating profit (or loss)
